CHERUBIM AT THE EAST OF THE GARDEN OF EDEN

So he drove out the man;
and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubim,
and a flaming sword which turned every way,
to keep the way of the tree of life....GENESIS 3:24

Humanity fell from Grace, when it began to believe in two powers, good and evil. The Truth is that there is only One power, the Omniscience, Omnipotence and Omnipresence of the Lord.  So, how can we return to the Garden of Eden and eat from the Tree of Life. We must stop eating from the Tree of Good and evil. What does this mean? In the New Testament, we are told how to do it. We must stop judging, condemning and resenting others. There is only One life in the whole universe. And it is the Life of God. When we are condemning others, we are condemning our own Being. And we must not resist evil. Since evil has no real power, by resisting it, we are giving it the power which it never had. So, we give evil power when we falsely believe that it is substantial.

It is easier to understand this by means of correspondences. Good corresponds to Light and evil to darkness. So, what is darkness? It is nothing but a lack of Light. When we were in the Garden of Eden, we were with God in the realm of pure Light. Then, when we started to falsely believe in powers other than God, we descended into the realm of Light and darkness. So, the distorted manifestations that we see in the world are the result of false beliefs in the human mind, beliefs in darkness, lack, disease and death. In the higher consciousness of the Garden of Eden, there is only the Light, Life, Love and Wisdom of God. If our consciousness remains in the Light of God, we will manifest Heaven on Earth. We manifest what we believe. If we only believe in the infinite power of the Lord, we will manifest what is Beautiful, True and Good.
